Andrew Briggs

Andrew Briggs is Emeritus Professor of Nanomaterials at the University of Oxford and Chair of QuantrolOx. His research interests focus on nanomaterials for quantum technologies with machine learning for controlling the experiments, and the nanoscale thermodynamics of timekeeping and information. He has over 650 publications, of which nearly 400 have been cited 10 times or more. His books for a general readership include “The Penultimate Curiosity: How Science Swims in the Slipstream of Ultimate Questions”, for which there is a documentary film and a six-book series for children; “It Keeps Me Seeking: The Invitation from Science, Philosophy and Religion”; and “Human Flourishing: Scientific Insight and Spiritual Wisdom in Uncertain Times”. His most recent book carries endorsements by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Astronomer Royal, and has won an ISSR 2023 Book Prize.

Roger Penrose

Sir Roger Penrose is mathematician, mathematical physicist, philosopher of science and Nobel Laureate in Physics. He is Emeritus Rouse Ball Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford, an emeritus fellow of Wadham College, Oxford, and an honorary fellow of St John's College, Cambridge, and University College London

Emily Qureshi-Hurst

Emily Qureshi-Hurst is a philosopher and theologian whose interests lie in the intersection between Christian theology, philosophy, and modern science. Before taking up her position of Teaching Associate in Theology and Natural Science at the Faculty of Divinity in Cambridge, she was a Junior Research Fellow at Pembroke College, Oxford (2021-2024) and a Lecturer in Philosophy at Oriel College, Oxford (2022-2024). She completed her D.Phil (PhD) in Science and Religion in 2021 at the University of Oxford, where she was supervised by Professor Alister McGrath.

Michel-Yves Bolloré

Michel-Yves Bolloré is co-authors of  « God, The Science, The Evidence »  with  Olivier Bonnassies .  He is passionate about science. They spent three years gathering information from researchers and scientists in order to offer a collection of evidence supporting the existence of a creator God.

The book is a best-seller in Europe, where it and has sold more than 400,000 copies. The book and accompanying documentary God and Science will be available in English for the first time in October 2025.

Steven Croft 

Steven Croft has been the Anglican Bishop of Oxford since 2016 and was previously the Bishop of Sheffield. He has been a member of the House of Lords since 2013 and has served on Select Committees on Artificial Intelligence and the Environment and Climate Change and was a founding Board Member of the UK Government Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation. He is co-chair of the Anglican Communion Science Commission. 

Susan Greenfield

Susan Greenfield, Baroness Greenfield is a scientist, writer, broadcaster and member of the House of Lords (since 2001). Her research has focused on the treatment of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. She is also interested in the neuroscience of consciousness and the impact of technology on the brain.

 She is a senior research fellow at Lincoln College, Oxford; she was a professor of Synaptic Pharmacology

John Lennox

John Carson Lennox  is a  mathematician, bioethicist, and lay theologian. He has written many books on religion, ethics, the relationship between science and God (such as Has Science Buried God and Can Science Explain Everything), and has had public debates with atheists including Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens.
